| Greenville's Unity Park plans move forward Even as COVID-19 takes a heavy toll on the hospitality industry, the source of tax revenues funding Unity Park development, the city of Greenville has been able to keep the project on pace, at least the initial phases. Mayor Knox White says the pandemic may affect when some of the later stages of the park are completed, but not whether they will be finished. Nonprofits win grants from global groups Coastal Community Foundation and One80 Place have both been awarded seven-figure funds from big names.
