Hire Me SC to hold virtual employment summit in October

Hire Me SC will be rolling out its annual employer summit online Oct. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to noon to help link employers to resources on building a workforce open to candidates with disabilities. Speakers include Tom Arnold, president and CEO of Colonial Life and Accident Insurance Co.

SC Thrive rental assistance program extended

The program, launched in May, is now accepting applications from those who previously collected Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation funds. Eligible households can receive up to $1,500 in a one-time, lump-sum payment.
