USDA invests $37 million in rural S.C. energy projects

Roughly $37 million in USDA funding will be used by 12 rural companies and farms including Gaffney’s new Mohea Solar Energy Center to install renewable energy systems and improvements.

Dominion asks for 7.75% rate increase

The rate increase, which must be approved by the S.C. Public Service Commission, would increase the average residential electric bill by $9.68 a month, according to the company. The new rates would go into effect in March 2021.
