This week focused our attention on the most pressing issues in cannabis, including the ultimate question of legalization. "We are in a place right now where Schedule I and cannabis remaining on Schedule I will be the end for a lot of cannabis businesses, especially the smallest cannabis businesses, especially the pioneers," said Shanita Penny, senior VP of public affairs at Forbes Tate Partners. "We're hearing everything from the eight-factor analysis is done; it's moving to schedule II; or it's moving to Schedule III. I would not be surprised if there was no movement."
