Even though COVID-19 may have shut down most of the world’s amusement parks, that doesn’t mean they’ve gone completely silent. To protect the safety of guests when the parks reopen, employees must continuously test and maintain the rides to make sure they function safely. But how does one operate a ride and test safety features when there’s nobody around to take a seat? Well, that’s where stuffed animals come in.

The Dutch theme park Walibi Holland used 22 oversized teddy bears during its ride testing procedures and filmed the whole thing. During the ride, the bears slide and jump and rattle around just like real people would, which makes the clip the perfect kind of viral advertisement. We already know companies are starting to use COVID-19-related measures in their marketing, but this one probably takes the cake.
