BY VICKI FERSTEL | Staff writer What a rout! The Saints' 44-19 victory Sunday over the Dallas Cowboys was just, well, sweet. As sportswriter Luke Johnson tells it: "Almost every time the Saints touched the ball, good things happened. The Cowboys were not able to keep pace because, though they were able to move the ball against the Saints defense, they were not able to cash in on prime opportunities." Read his story here. Another assassination attempt: A suspect has been arrested in the assassination attempt Sunday against former President Donald J. Trump at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla. Trump was not injured. The incident comes some two months after Trump was shot in the ear at a rally in Butler, Pa., where two attendees were also injured and another killed. That shooter was killed. Staff writer Justin Mitchell reports that top Louisiana lawmakers are speaking out about the latest incident. LSU heroes: Sometimes it just takes heart, not muscles, to be a hero.
