Saints starting safety Marcus Mayes was arrested on accusations of aggravated assault with a handgun what was called by authorities a “road rage” incident in Metairie. Saints beat writer Luke Johnson gives you the details on Maye’s arrest. Also, the Saints sent two player to the injured reserved list, meaning they will miss at least the first four games of the season. Ok, looking for some good news? Well, there was some. Left tackle James Hurst says he feels great and expects to be good to go for the Saints’ season opener in Atlanta on Sept. 11. That’s all for now.
