ABB is opening a new integrated Operations Center in Singapore, the third facility of its type, which will allow the company’s expert engineers to follow the sun across the globe. Typically, at the end of the working day, the Singapore Center will handover to colleagues in Norway and Finland and this process will continue across the globe when a new Integrated Operations Center is opened in the US later this year.

Panama Canal announces new tariffs for neopanamax locks

The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has announced new tariffs for tug and line handler services for the neopanamax locks. Recently, ACP conducted another successful trial transit of the Expanded Canal, maneuvering a vessel through the Pacific-facing Cocoli Locks. Inauguration of the expanded Canal will take place on Sunday, 26 June with the transit of the COSCO Shipping Panama.
