No Images? Click here Our new fundraising campaign, Safe to Skate, is officially live! We're aiming to raise $200,000 by the end of December to be able to continue to provide places where children are safe to skate, learn, play, and dream. We all need a place where we can feel safe. For many of our students, day-to-day life can feel uncertain, even insecure. Our Skate Schools provide a haven, a place where students know they are safe, not only from the dangers of the outside world, but from discrimination and judgement. Within the walls of Skateistan, children are safe to express themselves, make mistakes, play and have fun. Donate todayto give children a place where they are free from fear. DONATE TO SUPPORT OUR CAMPAIGNMony is 11 years old and lives near the Skate School in Phnom Penh. Mony struggled with her behaviour and she wouldn't listen to her Educators, which jeopardized her safety as well as the safety of the other students. Through the Skate and Create program, Skateistan Educators made her feel safe to be herself and express her energy in a secure environment. Read her full story on our blog and help support our campaign so that we can continue providing safe places to skate, learn, and dream for children like Mony. VISIT THE CAMPAIGN WEBSITESTAY TUNED: MORE STUDENT STORIES TO COME Throughout the campaign, we will be introducing you to four Skateistan students that tell the story of safety at Skateistan through their personal experiences. From Ethan in South Africa who had no place to express and explore his talents to Safiullah in Mazar who lives in an IDP camp with no access to education, our Skate Schools provide a haven, a place where students know they are safe from the dangers of the outside world. Donate today and make a difference. Provide a safe space to skate, learn and dream.
