Tasmania's Police Fire and Emergency Services Department has been told to find $35 million in savings out of their budget over the next four years.

Work is being done on the bottleneck where the Southern Outlet meets Macquarie and Davey streets, State Roads tells Ryk Goddard they're doing their best to minimise disruption.
