The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is magical. While most stores are currently discounting jeans shorts, swimsuits, and sandals, Nordies is marking down next season's hottest items, including denim must-haves. From now until August 3rd, you can get some of the most coveted jeans for nearly half-off—but you must order ASAP, as many of the most popular styles are selling out fast.

One of my must-buys, We the Free Palmer Cuffed Baggy Jeans, is considered an "Anniversary Big Deal," which means major markdowns at nearly 50 percent off. The relaxed, cool-girl jeans, which can be worn cuffed or long, are equipped with front and back patch pockets and come in light and dark washes. I'm also obsessed with the brand's Holly Ripped Bootcut Jeans; both styles are just $65, a steal considering they retail at $128.

If you have been waiting to splurge on designer denim, now is the time. My favorite pair of timeless Rag & Bone jeans, Flexi Wren High Waist Slim Jeans, are marked down to $173 from $258. The perfect intersection between straight and skinny, with a slender but comfy fit due to the stretch denim material, they look great with everything from boots and heels to sandals. They will transition easily from summer to fall.

At the lower end of the price spectrum, you can't go wrong with Wit & Wisdom’s smoothing and sculpting Sophie Ab'Solution High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans. The legging-like jeans are available in regular and petite sizes and are "very flattering" black jeans that "hugs in the right places." Get them for $45; the blue wash is also on sale for $50.
