| | Let's LINC up on LinkedIn Happiest of Mondays to you Baltimore! I’m hoping everyone had a restful weekend. I know I did. I had the opportunity to visit Annapolis and be very close to the water, which I always love. This reminds me to give you all a gentle reminder about moving any open containers of liquid away from your computer. Mary Allen Wilkes, my Women’s History Month figure of the day, might want you to do the same. I won’t crowd today’s woman with riddles or poems. She's especially known for her work with the LINC computer, which we now know to be the world's first personal computer. I promise it’s okay to celebrate the women making impacts in your own sphere, out loud and without a riddle — even if I’ll likely return to my daily riddle style tomorrow. This is a newsletter. But in real life, say it plainly: I appreciate Women Women contribute a lot to technology and society as a whole Women are smart Women rule LOL You catch my drift. Did you know that Mary is considered one of the world's first remote workers? I’m grateful for Mary pioneering not only the personal computer but a good WFH day as I type this from my dining room table. Lastly, I'm hoping you got to read the story I filed about Adeola Ajani and her work with Fem Equity last week. It’s getting some great interaction on LinkedIn. Are we connected there yet?
