This week, The Webby Awards invited its community to participate in the 5G for Change Hackathon, presented by Verizon! Submissions are open through Friday, April 1, 2022. This is a huge opportunity to build something for change, win a Webby and $50,000. So they want you to have all the information you need to start. About the 5G for Change Hackathon: The Webby Awards is challenging its community to envision how to change the world through technology and make real-world changes together. Teams of no more than six members are invited to submit a pitch of what cause or issue they want to fix, and how 5G and the Internet can help fix it. Finalists will attend a pitch day in front of our expert judges on Friday, April 29th at Verizon’s 5G Lab in New York City. The winning team will be announced on stage at the 26th Annual Webby Awards, and will win a $50,000 cash prize and the first-ever 5G for Change Webby Award!
