The Webby Awards and NAACP have partnered together to address Internet issues impacting the BIPOC community through a new virtual event series, and uplift BIPOC creators using their platforms to advocate for social justice through the Webby Advocate of the Year Special Achievement Award.
The first UNPCKD event will explore how leaders and creators are tackling misinformation across platforms that targets Black and AAPI communities.
