| Nature is my passion, Art and Science are the lenses I use to interpret it.
I create photographic art featuring the natural world that bridges the disciplines of art and science. For me art, science and nature have always been connected. As a young person, the transition from exploring, drawing, painting and photographing nature to trying to figure out how it all worked was intuitive and natural. In University I studied biology and taught myself photography. My study of life has made me appreciate of the amazing complexity, diversity and interconnectivity in the world around us, even our own backyards! |
