A couple weeks ago I celebrated the last lingering rays of fall by finally baking up the pumpkin I bought at the farmer's market for Halloween. Specifically, it was a pie pumpkin, not a Jack-O-Lantern. I hoped to get a second use out of it and, woah, it worked! :) Thank you to my sister, who recommended roasting, not boiling it; another Holly, at www.spendwithpennies.com for the instructions; and Rosemary at allrecipies.com for the roasted seeds idea.

Not too long ago, my mother told me she started mincing up raw garlic and swallowing them like pills first thing in the morning with water, all to help her stay healthy and keep her cholesterol down. I can tell you I usually just trust her homeopathic ways, but I started doing it myself and I feel so good.

We usually prepare scrambled eggs for breakfast and I thought of not totally breaking the eggs, but just making a small hole in it and shaking it to make the contents come out. I wanted to create a decoration that's made of egg shells and here's what I did.

I used rose/ivy bowls and glass vases and added beads, flowers, or other decorations for vessels to hold flameless candles, as Christmas gifts. Here are pictures of some of the finished ones. I used low melt hot glue.

They're taking advantage of my kindness and I don't get a call or visit showing appreciation all year.Name Ideas for a Candle and Body Products BusinessI'm starting a business with making bath bombs, body scrubs, body butters, and candles.
