Revel in my misery

This isn’t easy to admit… 

Some of you will judge me for it.

No doubt some will take pleasure in my misery. 

It’s deeply humiliating. Something I struggled with for a long time. Something I tried to keep hidden from those around me. Something I never wanted to come out publicly. 

However, despite the very real risks to my business, my reputation, and even my personal life, I’m facing my fears and sharing the darkest, most emasculating period of my life.

A few years ago I was a billionaire…

Then I lost almost everything. I was broke. Not “rich guy” broke. I mean really broke. Verge of bankruptcy broke. Worse than broke, actually – with my accountants telling me on a net basis I was worth less than zero.

I suffered there for a long time. Until finally, I found something – a path forward. A way to rebuild. Bit by bit, I clawed my way back, and in doing so, I stumbled upon something extraordinary.
