Selected interns will work closely with Res Artis staff and internal and external stakeholders to plan, deliver and evaluate internship projects that are jointly decided on and mutually beneficial to both parties. A Res Artis internship provides the perfect opportunity to deep-dive into a concrete project and see it through its duration in a local and international context. Five distinct roles are available: Communications; Membership; Project Space; Research and Special Projects. The internships can be undertaken remotely or in-person in our office and project space in Melbourne, Australia. We are delighted to introduce you to our current Res Artis global interns-in-residence: Chen Siyan (Stephanie) from China, Wang Anyi (Annie) from China and Charlotte Bideau from France. Siyan and Anyi come to us via Global Cultural Adverturers in China. Charlotte our current Project intern in Residence, says: I chose Res Artis as my graduated internship at the end of my Masters in International Studies and Culture Management. To me, Res Artis is the ideal organization for those interested in culture and international relations. After a course in Political Sciences and then in Cultural Management, this internship greatly deepened my capacities in terms of project development, in coordination with a wonderful international team, and whose values I share. I think people have always needed art and culture in their lives. For my part, I particularly appreciate the visual arts and cinema, and I believe in the need to support cultural actors who participate in highlighting the artistic creations that each one has to contribute. These four months have confirmed my desire to work for a global and inspiring project, putting artists and culture at the forefront. I particularly appreciate the autonomy that has been granted to me and the confidence of the team in carrying out my work, and would definitely recommend this experience! Siyan our current Membership Intern in Residence, says: I have graduated from Southwest University in Chongqing. I recently attended the EU-China summer school at the University of Macau. At present, i am in my first year of postgraduate study in Yunnan University, majoring in Chinese painting creation. My hobbies are painting, exhibition, photography and so on. I once served as a painting teacher in a deaf school and a volunteer in Kunming Biennale. I love art very much, and as my future development is also related to art, I chose to go to this desired organisation for internship. Being able to come to Res Artis is the happiest thing for me in this summer vacation. Res Artis are committed to various services to members and seriously investigate the needs of members. Looking for more members of the professional attitude will be the model of my future study and work. Anyi our current Membership Intern in Residence, says: I am a student from the Department of Visual Communication Design, School of Fine Arts, Shanghai University. I have multiple motivations to participate in this internship program. First, I hope that this internship in an international organisation can help me expand my horizon and learn more about foreign cultures. Secondly, i hope this internship can help me improve my language skills and social skills, and i can better understand the mode of social work. Thirdly, i hope to make contributions to Res Artis. I have always been interested in art, and i have great enthusiasm to make a contribution in the field of art. I thought the aspirations of the organisation match mine, and that made me want to be a part of it. I have many hobbies, but reading and painting are my favorites. Knowledge from books helps me broaden my horizon, and painting can relax me. I like to perceive the world through color.
