The events of October 7 are a moment that has divided Israeli society – and much of the Jewish world – into “before” and “after.” Three Forward journalists — Editor-in-Chief Jodi Rudoren, Opinion Editor Laura E. Adkins and Senior Political Reporter Jacob Kornbluh — each reported from Israel during the first two months of the conflict. They spoke to officials, citizens and soldiers. They visited the devastated kibbutzim, Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square, and the Knesset. Together, they’ll share their experience of reporting from Israel now and their thoughts on what may come next. |
