| The U.S.-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to a special exhibition of historic photos and documents in celebration of Independence Day of Azerbaijan. 1918 - The Birth of a Republic in Historic Photos May 27 | 6:00 - 7:30 PM EST USACC Gallery 1212 Potomac Street NW, Washington, D.C., 20007 Join us in commemorating the 107th anniversary of the founding of the first Azerbaijani Republic in 1918 with a special program featuring Mr. Dilgam Ahmad, a distinguished young Azerbaijani historian, collector, and Ph.D. candidate at the University of Istanbul. Mr. Ahmad will present a powerful visual storytelling exhibit, showcasing 47 rare and meticulously preserved historical photos and documents that bring to life the early years of Azerbaijan’s independence. Through personal narratives and archival imagery, this collection offers a compelling glimpse into the nation's formative years. Special Guest of Honor: H.E. | Dilgam Ahmad -Azerbaijani historian and collector. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Istanbul, he specializes in the formative years of the Republic of Türkiye. Mr. Ahmad has curated an extensive collection of artifacts and historical documents related to the first Azerbaijan Republic (1918–1920), contributing significantly to the preservation and understanding of Azerbaijan’s early statehood. |
