REDS LOCKED AND LOADED FOR FIJIAN CHALLENGE

Seasoned pair Angus Blyth and Ryan Smith will start in the lock spots for the Queensland Reds in Saturday afternoon’s key Super Rugby Pacific match against the Fijian Drua in Suva.

The Reds’ depth at lock has enabled Head Coach Les Kiss to effectively manage his personnel throughout a demanding season because Josh Canham and Lukhan Salakaia-Loto will offer major impact off the bench.

The QRU wishes to congratulate Les Kiss on his appointment as Head Coach of the Wallabies, which will come into effect following the conclusion of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season.

“We are supportive of Les’ ambition and proud that his hard work and the strong performance and culture of the team and organisation has been recognised in his appointment," QRU CEO David Hanham said.
