Capricorn have introduced the new ONE EFRA 2163 exhaust pipe. Designed for 1/8th scale applications the muffler, made of high-quality material and coming with a shiny polished surface finish, is available from now on as pipe only or in combination with a suitable manifold.

Coming from Capricorn are new shorter shock shafts for the company’s big bore shock absorbers. 2.5mm shorter than the standard shafts the short-type items make for an optimised positioning of the shock pistons, resulting in increased overall traction. In addition the shafts are made of a new material with an updated surface coating making for a smoother finish than TiN-coated shock shafts.

FX Engines and RC America have announced the signing of US top driver, Jake Mayo to their team. Jake will be using FX engines to power his Xray rides for the 2019 season, attending races such as the Dirt Nitro Challenge and the ROAR nationals.

The second kit out of Tamiya’s WR-02CB comical chassis line is the Hornet buggy. Resembling the iconic 1980’s Hornet buggy, the kit makes use of the WR-02CB 2WD stunt chassis that is equipped with black colour shock absorbers, a spring-equipped front bumper, multi-colour wheels and a Hornet-inspired body shell with Tamiya’s new-design driver figure and dual antennas. HRC Distribution have introduced the new HRC Racing HRC 68112CAR low profile servo. The high-voltage compatible servo features dual ball bearings, metal gears, an aluminium middle heatsink section and it offers up to 13kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.04s thanks to a powerful brushless motor. The servo comes equipped with an 80mm all-black receiver wire and it is available now.

Made for the Team Associated B6.1 series of buggies is Schaffner Racing Products’ 30mm side pod fan mount. 3-D-printed and available in different colours, the side pod fan mount come in two variants, for the use on the pinion side of the car or for the traditional endbell side of the chassis. The mounts are a direct fit, they utilise standard 30mm fan units and are available in black, blue or orange colour for layback or laydown transmissions.
