Tekno introduce new 1/10 & 1/8 options Posted: 30 Nov 2018 05:59 AM PST Coming from Tekno are several new option parts for their line of 1/10th and 1/8th scale vehicles. First up and coming for the EB410 and Et410 are heavy duty differential outdrives and diff couplers. The new heavy-duty outdrives and coupler retain the same physical dimensions as the standard EB410 and ET410 parts but have less material removed for improved durability and impact resistance. They are recommended when running in harsh conditions. The HD outdrives and diff coupler are also ideal for carpet racing with frequent on-power jump landings. They are made from the same material and are a direct replacement for TKR6514/TKR6597. Next up is the EB/ET 410 carbon fibre RX tray. This new carbon tray allows the receiver to be mounted off the chassis, providing additional space for electronics. This is especially useful with the ET410 which often uses larger ESCs. This tray requires the carbon fibre steering top plate (TKR6598C) and cannot be used with the standard steering top plate (TKR6634). Swinging over to the 1/8th scale parts, Tekno have announced the release of the plastic shock cap bushings, that increase the life of the shock caps. They are designed to snap in and key with the top surface, making it virtually impossible for the bushing to rotate and wear the cap. Instead, the wear surface has been moved to the shock bushing itself reducing the cost to maintain your suspension. The 4-piece sets fits all of Tekno’s 1/8th scale shocks. Lastly are the new shock standoffs that, when used with above shock bushings, allow the shock to only pivot between the standoff and bushing, moving the wear surface to the bushing itself and increasing the life of the cap. They fit all Tekno RC 1/8th scale vehicles as well as the MT410 and SCT410. Source: Tekno [teknorc.com] The post Tekno introduce new 1/10 & 1/8 options appeared first on Red RC - RC Car News. |

7075.it LCG System touring car chassis & weight sets Posted: 30 Nov 2018 04:55 AM PST Coming from 7075.it are four aluminium chassis and combo sets for touring cars such as the Awesomatix A800, Infinity IF14, Team Associated TC7.2 and Xray T4’19. All chassis are machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and they feature a flex design for optimised torsional flex while pockets along the centre line allow the mounting of dedicated brass centre weights in order to fine-tune overall weight and weight bias. The low-profile weights protrude from the chassis by only 3mm, compared to the previous 6mm, ensuring a lower overall centre of gravity and thus faster cornering in high-grip track conditions. Weights available for now include 8g front weights, a 25g low-profile centre weight and a tall 50g centre variant. The keyed weights are mounted using a single screw and are easy to add and remove, with the A800 chassis also allowing to use the 8g front weights as additional centre variants. The chassis come black anodised for wear and looks and they are available separately or including a brass weight set.
