JConcepts F2 22 4.0 body shell Posted: 01 Mar 2018 08:37 AM PST JConcepts have introduced the F2 body shell for the TLR 22 4.0 2WD buggy. Designed with aspects learned from the original Finnisher bodies, the F2 provides an even more aggressive look with included details which remain crucial to performance. Increased windshield angle provides a steady force upfront during mid-flight wind gusts on large jumps while the forward cab placement changes the performance and visible bias which help steering rotation in low traction corners. The side-pods have been simplified to remove unwanted changes in height to neutralise the at-speed handling and the rear of the pods have a dual step, scoop treatment which give a first in class look to the F2 body. The rear of the cab has the Finnisher step feature which allows the placement of a secondary side window and also several louver options off the rear. In addition to the newly designed body, JConcepts has included two of the latest Aero S-type rear wings to round out the package. Source: JConcepts [jconcepts.net] ![]() ![]() |
Tekno EB410 alloy stub axles & composite diff gears Posted: 01 Mar 2018 07:37 AM PST Coming from Tekno RC and made for the EB410 1/10th scale 4WD buggy are aluminium stub axles and composite diff gear sets. Starting with the stub axles, they are CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium, hard anodised for wear, and reduce the rotating mass as well as unsprung weight by over 5g per pair. They are a direct replacement for the stock steel stub axles and do not require any additional parts. Although these axles are tough, they are intended to be used for performance improvement in the highly competitive 13.5 4WD class and may not be as durable as the stock counterpart. The axles are available as separate sets for the front and the rear of the buggy. Also new are composite differential gear. The set reduces rotating mass as well as the overall weight of the EB410 by 8.5g per set, or over 25g of rotating mass reduction overall. Each package will upgrade a single diff, and three packages will completely outfit the EB410. Like the above alloy axles, these gears are intended to be used as a performance upgrade for the highly competitive 13.5 4WD class and may not be as durable as the stock counterpart.
