Team Associated tease possible B6.1 2WD buggy Posted: 06 Feb 2018 08:43 AM PST Team Associated have release a first teaser image of what could be the follow-up model to the popular B6 platform. With 2018 being an IFMAR 1/10th Buggy World Championship year many have already awaited a first vital sign of a B6.1 or even a B7 and now AE have started to unveil the latest incarnation of the legendary RC10 platform step by step as they did with the previous platforms. While the front end of the new buggy remains unchanged, Team Associated hint on a larger rear end revamp, stating “We love the front end of the B6, refined, simple, and incredibly adjustable, but for the rear end, we had some big plans! Some even questioned whether it could be done…so the engineers within #Area51 got to work. The result: Easier to work on Increased adjustability (more on this later) More consistent feel on track and MORE!”. The eagle-eyed of us would get a first taste of the changes to come when looking at Dustin Evans’ Reedy Race winning B6 that was equipped with new rear A-arms that feature inserts to adjust the lower shock angle. We bring you more updates on the buggy as soon as they become available. Source: Team Associated [teamassociated.com] |

Additionally, if drivers decide to run without the wheelie bar, the rear bumper is so versatile, it will adapt and allow either configuration. The bumper for the Stampede 2wd consists of a scale bumper that uses design elements from many of today’s top full-scale bumper manufacturers. RPM start with an upper tubular shape, followed by faux stamped sheet metal filleted holes, a scale license plate area and with a final touch of a pair of scale 3” square openings for 5mm LEDs. The RPM bumper supports are designed tough, with serious impact absorption characteristics built in.
