Pro-Line Sling Shot 4.3” Pro-Lock tyre mounted Posted: 25 Jan 2018 12:07 PM PST Pro-Line have introduced the mounted version of their Sling Shot 4.3” Pro-Lock sand tyre for the Traxxas X-Maxx 1/8th scale truck. The tyre has been developed from the ground up for extreme punishment with an all-new ultra-durable compound that prevents tyre ballooning even at high speeds. The tyre features Pro-Line’s proprietary Pro-Loc technology that creates an ultra-secure bond to the Impulse Pro-Loc wheels while still being removable when required. The reinforced tyre bead fits into a uniquely shaped channel on the wheel and the bead-loc screws actually pass through the tyre rubber before being pinched by the outer bead-loc ring to create the maximum possible mounting security. The technology debuted on the Badlands MX43 Pro-Loc tyres and has proven to be extremely popular for the X-Maxx fans. The Sling Shot tyre come pre-mounted to Pro-Line’s Pro-Loc wheel that is finished off with the stone gray bead-loc ring and it comes in pairs. Source: Pro-Line [prolineracing.com] |

JConcepts B6-series P2 buggy body shell Posted: 25 Jan 2018 10:16 AM PST JConcepts have introduced their new Punisher 2 body shell for the Team Associated B6 and B6D buggies. The lid made its debut during the 2017 IFMAR World Championships with Ryan Cavalieri taking a strong 2nd place finish and it separates itself from the rest of the bodies on the market with its distinctive styling. The S2 and F2 body designs have created their own path of success on dirt, carpet and Astroturf with class leading success, now, the P2, will carve its own. The body features a raised nose/hood, taller cab and rear-end force features. The side-pods are once again JC chamfered to provide that legendary look and the secondary window screams JConcepts styling. The cab drops off quickly and runs deep toward the rear giving plenty of drift to the newly added winglets. The tall, rear fin stabiliser acts as a vane to keep the buggy tracking in the proper direction while also maintaining a rigid roofline even with lightweight materials. The package arrives complete with two Aero S-type wings used by Ryan Maifield to claim the 2017 IFMAR World Championship. The extended rear gurney lip allows for tuning more grip on the loose surfaces while running with the latest generation in off-road. Source: JConcepts [jconcepts.net] |
