JConcepts B6-series aluminium servo mount bracket

Posted: 26 Dec 2016 09:41 AM PST

JConcepts have introduced an aluminium servo mount bracket for the Team AssociatedB6 and B6D vehicles. Constructed of billet aluminium and available in either blue or black colours, the mount fits snug inside the chassis servo mounting area increasing the support across while the two screw mounting locations are beefy in design and zeroed in for a direct mount to the chassis. Additionally the bracket has locations on each side for included 3x6mm set screws to help align and maintain the servo’s position during racing conditions, crashes and hard hits. The set screws are intended to touch-off against the servo case and provide additional support keeping the servo in the intended position which helps maintain consistent steering trim. The servo mount bracket can be installed in B6 vehicles without any modifications or additional equipment.

Yeah Racing T4’17 carbon fibre option parts

Posted: 26 Dec 2016 04:49 AM PST

Coming from Yeah Racing is a range of carbon fibre option parts for Xray’s T4 2017 touring car. First up are two equal flex carbon fibre chassis plates of harder 2.25mm and softer 2.0mm specification. Both offer a symmetrical design with mirrored motor cut-outs that make for equal left-to-right flex characteristics. The chassis are direct replacements for the stock main plate and they are available separately.

Also new are a 2.0mm and a 1.6mm carbon fibre upper deck. The 2.0mm variant is recommended for medium to high-grip conditions while the thinner 1.6mm top deck allows for increased torsional chassis flex which results in overall improved traction and side-bite especially in low-grip conditions. Next up are front and rear carbon fibre shock towers cut from 3.0mm high weave carbon material. The high rigidity prevents deformation during high speed cornering, resulting in higher corner speeds. The parts match the kit’s stock suspension geometry and they are available separately. Also new is a carbon fibre front body mount bumper brace to replace the standard composite part for improved chassis protection and looks while the final option part, a machined carbon spur gear plate, helps to distribute stress applied to the pulley more evenly.
