Shepherd V10 chassis plate & carbon insert

From Shepherd there is a new chassis plate and carbon insert for their Velox V10. The new chassis plate is milled from high quality German 7075 T6 aerospace aluminium. It has to be used with the advanced weight system battery holder as it features a centre brace for 18g sliding weights which replace the regular battery holder. The possibility to move the weights in the centre of the chassis allows for quick fine tuning of the weight balance even in the pit lane. The stiffer design of the chassis plate improves the car’s overall handling and makes it more sensitive to setup changes. The optional 2mm front carbon stiffener is milled from finest carbon fibre and helps to reduce front flex resulting in an easier-to-drive car under various conditions.

Koswork 1/10 Smart buggy/crawler bag

Koswork have introduced their new 1/10 Smart buggy/crawler bag designed specifically for crawlers, such as TRX-4, TRX-6 or similar. Also good for 1/10 buggy when using the included nylon corrugated cardboard plate, the bag sports plastic inserts built in for added strength and rigidity. The inside of oe end of the bag has elastic tool loops while the opposite side has a net bag for a transmitter & accessories with an outside side pocket completing the features. Internal dimensions of 650mm wide × 280mm deep × 300mm high.

FTX Outback Texan 1/10 Trail RTR

Inspired by the classic pick-ups from the 1940’s and 50’s the new FTX Texan blends old school retro looks with the latest in RC crawler chassis design. The classic cab body features scale exhaust stack, external airfilter, moulded grill, mirrors, wipers and a moulded flat-bed rear roll cage with spare tyre, they have even included two different decals for the rear flat bed, choose either a panel wood or checkerplate finish. The Texan features no body clips or posts, with a magnetic fixing at the front and hinged rear for smooth, uncluttered scale looks and easy, quick chassis access. Underneath the Texan features a low profile, cantilever rear shock absorber set-up to provide the platform for a flatbed rear assembly. Moulded internal wheel arch lining and side floors add further scale realism, along with beadlock wheels and dust cap.

Aluminium CNC shock absorbers are standard front and rear as are dual rated front springs. With the battery pack mounted further forward and the motor and Etronix 15kg servo set directly over the axle, weight bias and climbing ability is greatly improved. The split transmission design allows for a lower centre CofG centre transmission that can help accommodate interiors, whilst the updated transmission design now rotates front and rear axles in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction to help reduce the effects of torque twist. The Texan promises to take your off-road trail adventures to the next level with so many features as standard.
