Yokomo BD10 RTC system & more optionals Posted: 27 Apr 2020 01:12 AM PDT Yokomo have announced the release of new optional parts for the BD10 touring car in the form of the RTC rear toe control system as well as several weight options. Starting with the RTC system, the kit allows to convert the rear suspension into a reactive toe change design that will improve stability or agility by changing the rear tyre toe using chassis roll in corners. The kit includes updated rear arms, weight-optimised steering knuckles and C-hubs as well as lightweight mounting hardware. Also new is a 34g brass mid-motor mount that was designed to replace the standard aluminium part. The motor and layshaft mount allows to up the car’s overall weight if needed, all without changing the chassis’ weight balance. The mount comes black coated and with machined gold-colour edge details. Next up is a short LiPo battery mount set that includes 40g weight plates, a 20g inner battery stopper as well as carbon fibre battery hooks and hold down. The set allows to use standard and LCG height LiPo shorty packs while maintaining the correct left/right chassis balance. Thumb nuts ensure swift and easy battery swaps. Last but not least comes a carbon fibre battery mounting set for the new line of slim standard LiPo battery packs. Shorter battery hooks ensure neat battery mounting while brass battery posts keep the weight balance in check when using lightweight battery packs. It is understood that the design of the hooks also allows to use standard width battery packs if needed.
