Futaba 7PXR 7-channel high-end radio system Posted: 10 Dec 2019 08:29 AM PST Futaba have announced the soon release of their new 7PXR 7-channel top of the food chain radio system. Based off of the popular 7PX the R variant features several updates such as new home and menu buttons, an optimised weight balance for effortless handling even during long mains, and new carbon-reinforced steering and rear housing parts. By the use of red-anodised aluminium screws the weight was further reduced – and visual impact greatly improved – while a new-shape throttle trigger and brake lever improve the throttle and brake feeling. An “R” specific display design and background colour function as well as the included 1100mAh LiFe battery round out the 7PXR package. Other features such as the 4.3 inch full-colour LCD display, telemetry functions, MicroSD card slot and more have been taken over from the previous radio. The “R” is available as a set with one or two R334SBS or R334SBS-E T-FHSS SR receivers.

Rebellion-RC T4F Crossflex chassis & shock towers Posted: 10 Dec 2019 06:48 AM PST Rebellion-RC have released first teaser images of their forthcoming new Crossflex aluminium chassis and update carbon fibre shock towers for the popular Xray T4F FWD touring car. Starting with the chassis, it is machined from high-quality aluminium and features Rebellion-RC’s signature Crossflex technology that allows to add brass inserts for the lowers possible centre of gravity while enabling the drivers to fine-tune chassis flex by using different amounts of screw to tighten down the inserts. The chassis alone weighs in at 98g with the fully brass’ed up variant weighing in at 164g. The design of the chassis allows for three different battery positions such as front right inline, centre transversal and rear transversal – the latter has been made possible thanks to additional carbon fibre “wings”. The chassis seen here is a prototype with the actual main plate coming black anodised and laser-engraved. As for the carbon fibre shock towers, the updated front shock stay features two additional shock mounting positions that allow to run more inclined shock positions while milled out sections make it possible to route the motor wires through the shock tower for a more tidy setup. The rear tower mimics the T4’s shock positions and it utilises Xray X1 caster inserts for the body posts, allowing for easy body height adjustments. All parts will become available from mid to end of December. Source: RC-Carbonstore [rc-carbonstore.com] The post Rebellion-RC T4F Crossflex chassis & shock towers appeared first on Red RC. ![]() |
