VRP D819/E819 V3 rear shock tower Posted: 04 Dec 2019 08:49 AM PST New from VRP is the V3 rear shock tower for the HB Racing D819 and E819 line of buggies. The tower features new shock mounting holes that are mid spaced. This is the newest mounting positions being ran on the HB buggies. Another feature added to the V3 tower is the wing mounting holes. There are sets of holes that allow drovers to use the stock wing mount in the stock locations as well as move them up, or use the MBX8 wing mount for a finer wing height adjustment. Already campaigning SWorkz 1/8th scale kits since this season, Ryan recently left the Yokomo 1/10th scale squad he was running for only since this season to now campaigning SWorkz vehicles, such as the S35 1/8th scale and S12 and S14 1/10th scale kits, exclusively. White of colour, offering Kevlar reinforcements and a softer feel, the belt makes for less natural drivetrain drag compared to the standard kit belt, resulting in improved acceleration and top speed which is essential especially for stock racing classes. Neil Cragg sweeps Schumacher Indoor Masters Rd3 Posted: 04 Dec 2019 02:45 AM PST Round 3 of the Schumacher Indoor Off Road Masters at Worksop was held this past weekend. The race was once again a full entry with many great drivers in attendance. When the dust had settled it was Team Associated’s Neil Cragg with the win in 2WD Buggy from Schumacher driver, Ben Smith on the runner-up spot. The top 3 result was completed by Team Associated’s Tommy Hall. Over in 4WD Buggy it was again Neil Cragg with the overall from Xray’s James Helliwell in 2nd and Schumacher’s Allan O Brien in 3rd. The 2WD Stadium Truck class saw Lee Talbot walking away with the silverware chocolate from Abe Lyons in 2nd and Alex Callan in 3rd. Last but not least and in the Vintage class it was Rob Fox with the win from Steve Pierce in 2nd and Jim Drennon in 3rd. The next round is Sunday 5th January 2020. Tamiya TRF420 aluminium front spool cup set Posted: 04 Dec 2019 02:19 AM PST Tamiya have announced the soon release of the TRF420 aluminium front spool cup set. Originally designed for the TRF420 the set is also of use for TRF419 and TA07 where the lightweight aluminium outdrives reduce rotational masses for better acceleration. The outdrives come with a special surface treatment for wear while the included driveshaft cups further improve the durability of all parts involved, such as the driveshaft pins. Sweep Racing F21 low-profile formula tyres Posted: 04 Dec 2019 02:08 AM PST Sweep Racing have announced the soon release of their all-new F21 low-profile formula tyres. Making use of the new-for-2021 design of the real Formula 1 rims and tyres, Sweep Racing’s pre-mounted tyres offer 27mm width for the front and 40mm width for the rear, making the 1/10th scale cars look a lot more like the real thing. The new low-profile wheels also have a wide offset in order to generate more steering and increased stability. Included with each pair of tyres come stickers in Red, Yellow or White and the tyres will become available in soft, medium and hard compound.
