A little inspiration to feed your soul
As this difficult week winds down, you may find yourself grasping for any semblance of positivity you can find. I found this week's Voices In Food interview particularly inspiring, and I think you will, too. It tells the story of Micheal Sparks and Kate Houck, two friends who used their life savings to feed thousands of people in their community every week during the pandemic. It's motivating to see how they pulled it all together, but they also offer simple ways we can all take care of our community ― even if we don't necessarily think we have much to give.
And of course, it's more important than ever to take good care of yourself right now, too. So keep reading for ways to do that, and be safe and healthy this weekend.
XO, Kristen |
