Writing the Personal Essay 101: Fundamentals Online Workshop with Tracy Strauss
| The 2015 Boston Writers’ Room Fellow in Nonfiction and current Essays Editor for The Rumpus, Tracy Strauss has published memoir and essays in The Huffington Post, Salon, The Rumpus, xoJane, Poets & Writers Magazine, Writer’s Digest Magazine, WBUR’s Cognoscenti, The Feminist Wire, The Dodo, The Southampton Review, Solstice Literary Magazine, Beyond the Margins, and other publications. In 2014, Tracy appeared on The Steve Harvey Show as a relationship blogger for The Huffington Post. She is writing a narrative nonfiction book about finding “Mr. Right” after 40.
Tracy has taught writing at several Boston-area colleges and universities, and has been a guest speaker in memoir at Harvard University. Her feature and scholarly works have appeared in The Hopkins Quarterly, Artsake, The Somerville News, and War, Literature & The Arts: An International Journal of the Humanities, among other publications.
