Blackstone buoys Indian PE with Mphasis acquisition
SHARE:
Marking its largest acquisition in India to date, Blackstone has agreed to pay somewhere between $825 million and $1.1 billion to buy Mphasis, a provider of outsourcing services. While it's been a slow year so far for PE investor activity in the world's second most populous nation, it wasn't all that long ago when India was seen as the industry's next great untapped market.

Stone Point Capital to acquire majority stake in NFP Advisor Services
SHARE:
Stone Point Capital has entered an agreement to acquire majority ownership of NFP Advisor Services, a platform for independent financial advisors, from National Financial Partners, a Madison Dearborn Partners portfolio company. As part of the transaction, NFP Advisor Services will be rebranded as Kestra Financial. National Financial Partners will maintain a significant minority ownership interest in Kestra.

Esas, Actera to sell movie theater operator in €605M deal
SHARE:
Esas and Actera Group have reportedly agreed to sell Mars Cinema Group, a Turkish movie theater operator, in a €605 million transaction. Buyers include South Korea-based theater chain company CJ CGV, which is said to be acquiring a roughly 38% interest. Esas and Actera together own 69.5% of the company.
