Led by a dominant pack, giving go-forward ball at each set piece and pressure at the breakdown the Rebels backline were given the opportunity to shine with ball in hand. A brace of tries to trio Carter Gordon, Filipo Daugunu and fullback Andrew Kellaway who opened the scoring, demonstrated the fire power that the Rebels possess when the opportunities arise.
