3 Melbourne Rebels Selected in Australia U20 Preliminary Squad
Three Melbourne Rebels have been selected in the Australia U20 preliminary squad for next year’s international campaign.
Homegrown duo Divad Palu and Judah Saumaisue have been named alongside Joey Fowler in Nathan Grey’s 45-man Australian U20 preliminary squad to begin preparations for an expanded international campaign in 2024. Leafi Talataina was not considered due to injury.
Rebels Star Ash Marsters Honoured with Medal for Excellence
Melbourne Rebels Super Rugby W star Ashley Marsters has been recognised for her outstanding contribution to Australian Rugby and her fantastic 2023 campaign by taking home the inaugural Rugby Union Player Association's (RUPA) Medal for Excellence.
Joining Marsters was Wallaby James Slipper, who beat out Rob Valetini, Carter Gordon and Fraser McReight along with backrower duo Michael Hooper and Harry Wilson.
