ITB Responsible Destination Day
"Crisis Management and Resiliency in the Shadow of 2019-nCoV" - in view of the unpredictable future, it is crucial to create robust & flexible structures that will continue to function even if "things don’t go according to plan". What exactly is "resilience" and how is it incorporated in crisis management planning? Together with the Global Travel and Tourism Resilience Council, panelists will discuss examples of sustainable resilience and provide the latest update on coronavirus, what is known and what is being done, at the ITB Responsible Destination Day on 4 March at 4pm.

ITB Tourism for Sustainable Development Day
For the 4th time, the ITB Tourism for Sustainable Development Day on 5 March (3-6pm) is hosted by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). After the keynote held by the Parliamentary Secretary of State, Norbert Barthle, a panel will consider how cooperation across various stakeholder groups is vital for sustainable tourism development. The second panel will discuss how sustainable tourism can be leveraged for women economic empowerment.

World Travel Trends at the ITB Future Day
The recently published ITB World Travel Trends Report summarizes worldwide destination trends and answers questions such as: What developments have destinations seen in the past year? Who are the travelers and how do they travel? What is the outlook for 2020?

From Wednesday to Friday we offer you a perfect startto your day at 7 am with a daily new route through Berlin. Run with us through the famous Tiergarten, along the Berlin Wall, through the government district along the Spree or to the Charlottenburg Palace. Meet like-minded athletes and discover some of Berlin's treasures.
