One Book One Frankfort
We're proud to bring you One Book One Frankfort, a community reading project that encourages literacy and discussion. We're inviting everyone in the Frankfort and Franklin County area to read the New York Times bestselling novel The Art Forger by B. A. Shapiro, an exciting literary thriller about a struggling artist who agrees to forge a stolen Degas.

In addition to reading this exciting book, we hope you’ll participate in a book discussion or one of the many special events offered in April. We’ll have several craft workshops, and we’re excited to welcome Dr. John Bator of Kentucky State University for a talk on how artists translate ideas into their work. We will also screen a documentary on the heist at the Gardner Museum - the largest unsolved art heist in modern history and the real life event which shapes the background of the novel.

This entire reading project is free to the public, so stop by the Library to pick up your copy of the book and a schedule of the month’s events! Read more | List of Events
