The Australian

Good afternoon,

Rio Tinto chief Jakob Stausholm has apologised to staff after a report showed that, despite efforts to change the culture, allegations of rape and attempted rape within the company had risen and there was a growing "battle of the sexes" over its equality initiatives.

Meanwhile, overhauling a culture of sexual harassment and bullying is not a linear exercise and the Rio Tinto boss is finding out the hard way, writes Eric Johnston.

And The Australian's DataRoom column reports Amcor’s acquisition of rival Berry Global is one of the largest mergers and acquisitions deals in Australia’s industrials sector for some time.
