CBS Sports Football Pick Six Newsletter

I'm BACK from vacation and the mailbag is spilling over, so Ryan Wilson, John Breech and Sean Wagner-McGough joined me to answer the tough questions, like who we'd pick to start a franchise and thrive for the next 10 years (No. 1 is obvious but No. 2 isn't) and who'd win a four-way boxing match between us (!), plus all the latest NFL news.
We've reached the rarest weeks of the year, when there are no NFL games, practices or even many transactions, but that didn't stop Jason La Canfora's mind from spinning about the season to come. JLC identified 12 things to watch for both on and off the field, from the Pats' next chapter to the new PI rule to (possibly) the first member of the 50/50 club.
It took the Ravens 10 weeks to get Lamar Jackson into the starting lineup, but once they did, the in-season strategy shift was DRAMATIC. The Ravens ran 64% of the time with Jackson at QB, but can that actually work this season? Jared Dubin dove into the numbers and says it can ... but only if this happens.

Davante Adams is a stud, but Chris Trapasso says there's a good chance the Packers will be looking for more WR help next year. That's why Chris says Green Bay fans should keep a close eye on Jalen Reagor this college season, as he breaks down which players fans of every NFC North team should get to know ahead of the 2020 draft.
Corey Davis was all over the map in 2018, but there's a good reason for it. Marcus Mariota injured his elbow in Week 1, and the Titans threw the second-fewest passes of any team in the past five seasons. So, what will happen in 2019? Ben Gretch broke down the numbers and says this is what you can expect from Davis, including exactly where to draft him.
Cam Newton makes $20 million a year and is a famous NFL QB, but apparently all the money in the world can't buy you leg room in an airplane. Cam offered a man $1,500 to switch seats during a 10-hour flight to France, and got turned down. This brings up many questions (why was Cam in coach? what would it have taken to make a deal?) which I tried to answer here.
