As the first initiative of its kind in B.C., SFU health sciences researcher Anne-Marie Nicol is giving out free radon-testing kits for Vancouverites to test for the cancer-causing gas in their homes.

Dr. Aaron Goodarzi says Canadians are among the most exposed to radon because of Canada’s natural geography so more testing is needed.
