August 1st is World Lung Cancer Day | Today is World Lung Cancer Day. Radon Induced Lung Cancer is real and preventable. Like most people, Janet thought only people who smoked got lung cancer. Recent Events: Check out this review for Affordable Water Treatment - our Airwell dealer in Maine! Find all of our distributors here. "AWT is the only business in Maine able to install the new Airwell radon system. This system goes inside your well, and removes the radon from the water, prior to it coming into your house (no need for vent pipe on the house.) I was very pleased with Kevin, Tessie and all the employees I dealt with. They finished my Airwell install in a matter of a few hours. They were fair and honest with what to expect from the system (said I might need to add an iron filter). Luckily for me, the water was clear and no iron filter was needed. I tested my water a week after the install and the radon level had dropped from 48,000 to 1400. I am very happy to have safe water for my family, the folks AWT are true professionals. If you need water treatment in the greater central Maine area, look no further.
