MEDIA LOSER: Harris Faulkner Harris Faulkner's Monday morning interview with former President Donald Trump got off to a rough start, ended awkwardly, and hit some speed bumps in the middle. Let's recap. At the beginning of the interview, Faulkner interrupted with what she said was breaking news: DHS Secretary Mayorkas, who has faced heavy criticism from Trump, had just resigned. Trump was pleased: âIâm not surprised. Good. Thatâs a big victory for our country.â Seconds later, after listening to her producers in her earpiece, Faulkner issued an update: âForgive me, that has not happened. And I apologize.â There was also the moment where Trump, once again, pushed his nonsense that the election was stolen from him, and, once again, a Fox News host did not challenge him on that. The segment wrapped on an awkward note when Faulkner asked Trump why he was not following the usual ex-presidential tradition of avoiding criticizing their successors. âWell, you called me. I didnât call you in all fairness,â Trump responded. |
