R Kelly plans to appeal 30-year sentence
R Kelly's attorneys say the R&B singer plans to appeal his 30-year prison sentence.
The charges – involving six female victims, including the late singer Aaliyah (who married R Kelly in 1994 when she was 15 years old) – included racketeering, bribery, coercion, enticement and sex trafficking. The accusations against him span from at least 1992 to 2017.
Dressed in prison khakis and dark glasses, Kelly declined to make a statement of his own and did not react as the verdict was handed down.
Travis Barker is expected to make a full recovery after being rushed to the hospital for pancreatitis, which was reportedly caused by a recent colonoscopy.
