On Job Action Day, we gather the best experts in the career management field and ask them to share their experience and wisdom with our readers. And they never let us down! This year, our theme focuses on a commencement speech by Mike Rowe regarding “passion” and its role in career growth. Rowe (of “Dirty Jobs” fame) counsels job seekers to follow opportunities, and then bring their passion to their daily tasks. Not all jobs are glamorous, but if we can engage with the realities of our work and find ways to apply our unique talents and natural curiosity, we’ll be poised to grow and thrive.
