Richland County Councilman Chip Jackson dies at 65

Calvin “Chip” Jackson, who also served eight years on the Richland School District 2 board of trustees, died Friday. Jackson was elected as District 9 representative in November 2016.

Duke Energy, S.C. Chamber open small business grant

The Duke Energy Foundation has provided $100,000 in grant funding to the S.C. Chamber of Commerce to finance business management mentorships for 56 small businesses across the state.
