| | Good morning, There are changes coming to AdSense, the part of Google's ad tech used by publishers to monetize content, in August. What does it mean? Publishers will have to more closely monitor monetization partners. Otherwise, they risk losing access to the thousands of advertisers on Google's network. What is most at stake? Medium-sized publishers. As my colleague Ronan Shields further reports, it's not like it's been an easy year for publishers. Ad prices have fallen and marketers' affinity for blocklisting certain terms under the auspices of brand safety have hurt publishers' revenue.
