click here | | Last Friday, Pro Farmer released their highly anticipated national estimates for the 2023 corn and soybean crops. The national estimates reflect Pro Farmer’s view on production and yields. They take into account data gathered during Crop Tour and other factors like weather during Crop Tour, crop maturity, historical differences in Tour data versus USDA’s final yields, areas outside those sampled on Tour, etc. Full breakdown of the estimates and a state-by-state look are included in the latest Pro Farmer Newsletter, available for free download.
"This year’s corn and soybean crops had multiple nicks from Mother Nature, including the heat wave that will push crops hard to the finish line... or in some cases finish them. That’s not the type of finish farmers envisioned. Fortunately for some, their crops had built strong yields ahead of the heat.
