Opéra Bastille 2017-2018 Season
Inaugurated in 1989, the Bastille Opera was designed by award-winning architect Carlos Ott. The hall boasts clear views from all seats, despite the fact that it can seat an audience of over 2700 visitors.

Opéra Bastille from February 2 to 28, 2018 Follow the tragic story of Violetta, one of the most famous heroines in opera, played by Marina Rebeka and Anna Netrebko in this production by French director Benoît Jacquot. Plácido Domingo will sing as Giorgio Germont for three evenings.

Opéra Bastille from December 1 to 31, 2017Claus Guth's futuristic new production of La Bohème offers a fresh perspective on Puccini's masterwork. Acclaimed conductor Gustavo Dudamel leads an extraordinary casting, among which Sonya Yoncheva sings the role of Mimì and Aida Garifullina plays Musetta.

Opéra Bastille from June 20 to July 14, 2018 Maurizio Benini conducts a starry cast, featuring Željko Lučić, Sondra Radvanovsky, Anita Rachvelishvili, Marcelo Alvarez, Yusif Eyvazov and Roberto Alagna, who share the role of Manrico.
