Spare: Penguin Random House announces release date for Prince Harry's much-anticipated memoir |

| The much-anticipated definitive account of the Duke of Sussex's life, titled Spare, is expected in January.
AP reports the memoir is expected on 10 January 2023. The decision to delay the book came amid the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Of his memoir, Harry's said in a statement: "I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story - the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned - I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think."
In a statement on Thursday, Penguin Random House spoke of the 1997 death of Princess Diana, and of Harry and William, "walking behind their mother's coffin as the world watched in sorrow — and horror".
